HOW TO OBTAIN YOUR FREE MICROSOFT SOFTWARE
The IT and Business Division of the Virginia Beach Campus of Tidewater Community College subscribes to the Microsoft Developers’ Network Academic Alliance (MSDNAA), managed by "Dreamspark". As a member of this alliance, the Division can offer its students access to certain Microsoft products that are being utilized in the classroom. The process of obtaining software is automated. In the fourth week of each semester, students enrolled in ITD, ITE, ITN, and ITP classes that are more than 2 credits are eligible to check out or purchase Microsoft products. Dynamic classes and second eight week classes will be eligible after the second week of the class.
WHAT SOFTWARE IS INCLUDED?
NOTE: The Microsoft Office Suite is NOT included in the available software. If you have the Home or Student Version of Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010, you can obtain Microsoft Office Access 2007 or 2010.
ITE 115 classes currently use Microsoft Office 2010.
Most products require a Product ID or Serial Number to install. You can see the Product ID when you order the software by clicking on the link to the software at the end of the checkout procedure. Write them down, access is only available during the current semester
