Remote Proctoring

Online students may arrange to take proctored exams free of charge by using the following options:

  • in a face-to-face setting near a student's geographic location such as a public library or college

  • in a face-to-face setting on any of the TCC Campus Testing Centers

  • in an online setting via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra

If a student prefers the charged outside remote proctoring service, it must be initiated by the student and the student pays the remote proctoring service fee. Faculty may not require students to use the outside remote proctoring service.

Faculty need to read the resources provided below to understand the remote proctoring service. It is important that faculty thoroughly review the pre-test arrangements to ensure successful remote proctoring experience. Conducting a practice test prior to an actual test is highly recommended.

To receive e-Proctoring, the course must be a TCC course.

For any questions about remote proctoring, submit a help request.
